About the position

The Finance & Accounting Manager at Viceroy Snowmass is responsible for overseeing all financial operations within the department, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and striving for continuous improvement in guest and colleague satisfaction. This role involves managing the Accounts Payable process, monitoring receivables, and preparing financial statements, all while maintaining the integrity of the hotel's financial records.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Accounts Payable process.
  • Assist with Income Journal questions and validate data at month end.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and intercompany billing.
  • Reconcile cash collections and monitor shortages.
  • Verify owner's revenue statements and perform monthly payments.
  • Perform billing for HOA Assessments quarterly and monitor outstanding balances.
  • Conduct HOA bank and general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements for HOA.
  • Assist in the production of annual 1099's and annual external audit.
  • Maintain accounting standards with established Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all Finance policies, standards, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience in reviewing Financial Statements and Balance Sheet Reconciliation.
  • Exceptional organization skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
