About the position

The Accounting Manager at LS GreenLink will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations and manage a team of two employees. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records and reports, in compliance with GAAP. The position involves strategic planning and collaboration with the CFO to support the company's financial health and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close process.
• Prepare accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Support various work streams including strategic planning and budget preparation.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly financial information is provided.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure proper recording of control accounts.
• Handle daily banking requirements.
• Respond to inquiries from the CFO and company-wide managers regarding financial results and special reporting requests.
• Collaborate with the CFO to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit.
• Support the setup of an ERP system.
• Mentor, train, and develop staff, providing ongoing coaching and feedback.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5-10 years of accounting experience
• Strong analytical, strategic, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Authorized to work in the US
• Ability to build strong relationships across all organizational levels
• Team player with the ability to work independently and effectively under pressure

Nice-to-haves

• CPA and/or MBA preferred
• Experience with SAP (FI) and (CO) preferred
• Manufacturing industry experience in a global environment preferred
• Bilingual in Korean/English preferred
