About the position

The Accounting Manager at Prime Healthcare is responsible for overseeing the financial activities of assigned facilities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. This role involves managing daily operations of the accounting team, preparing financial statements, and maintaining comprehensive financial records.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial activity of assigned Prime Healthcare facilities.
• Manage daily operations and responsibilities of the accountants.
• Ensure accurate and complete monthly balance sheet reconciliation.
• Review and prepare monthly financial statement packets for review by the Controller and executive team.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of all financial transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• One year of management experience.
• Three or more years of Accounting/Finance experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows-based personal computers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Proficient in business software applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Two or more years of management experience.
• Meditech, Epic and/or Lawson experience.
• CPA or Master's Degree.
