About the position

The Accounting Manager will oversee the financial records and reporting processes for a client in the Montgomery area. This role is crucial for ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards while managing various accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Knowledge of Basic Accounting Principles
• Ability to write work instructions
• Experience with General Ledger
• Experience with monthly financial close process
• CPA
• Experience with accounts receivable and payable
