Responsibilities

  • Manage the accounting staff to ensure all work is completed accurately and within set deadlines.
  • Develop accounting principles, procedures, and work ethics to be followed by all accounting staff.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all financial information, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
  • Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and resource utilization while maintaining accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3 years prior supervisory experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area.
  • Strong knowledge of specialized functions of accounting and financial management.
  • Ability to set priorities and assign work to other professionals.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Must be able to submit to a background check and a drug screen.
