About the position

The Accounting Manager will oversee and support the international accounts of a client, ensuring accurate accounting and reporting of transactions in line with relevant standards. This interim role focuses on balance sheet intercompany clean-up efforts and is expected to last for over three months in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the balance sheet intercompany cleanup efforts and oversee the reconciliation of international accounts.
  • Manage the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure intercompany transactions and balances are accurately recorded and support the settlement process.
  • Implement measures to improve the efficiency and accuracy of intercompany reconciliation processes.
  • Assist in the creation and deployment of accounting policies, processes and procedures as applicable to the operations' functions.
  • Work with the internal and external auditors during interim and annual audit.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in resolving various accounting issues.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the accounting team.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in international accounting and intercompany transactions.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing financial reports.
  • Ability to implement accounting policies and procedures effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience working with auditors during audits.
