Responsibilities

  • Oversee and conduct complex financial analysis, reconciliation, and reporting of cash applications impacting balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Review transactions thoroughly and rectify any discrepancies efficiently.
  • Utilize strong accounting knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external contacts to resolve reconciliation issues.
  • Investigate the root causes of reconciliation issues and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences.
  • Ensure that all financial operations comply with statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive information.
  • Contribute towards the improvement of reconciliation processes and accounting procedures.
  • Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate customer credit records.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
  • Experience with ADP - Financial Services
  • Familiarity with BlackLine and Concur systems
  • Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
  • Ability to manage Accounting Functions
  • Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Knowledge of Auditing procedures
  • Proficiency in Billing Functions
  • Experience with Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Relevant detail oriented certification, such as CPA, is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and legislation.
