About the position

The Accounting Manager at Integrated Power Services (IPS) plays a vital role in managing day-to-day and monthly accounting operations across multiple service center locations. This position involves close collaboration with the Regional Finance Manager and Corporate Finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and support business decisions. The role emphasizes analytical skills to drive process improvements and profitability, making it essential for the company's growth and success.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day and monthly accounting operations for multiple service center sites.
• Facilitate the month-end close process, including processing journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Support the Area General Manager in business decisions and process improvements.
• Travel 25% to support Service Center staff.
• Assist in financial planning and analysis, including annual budget development.
• Guide Service Center Finance staff in job costing, inventory counting, accounts payable, labor entry, and expense reporting.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to drive data-based decisions for sales and profitability growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of Accounting experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of Managerial Accounting experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Working knowledge of accounting systems and month-end close processes.
