The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in the financial operations of the company. This position requires a CPA or someone who is in the process of obtaining their CPA. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements, support month-end and year-end close processes, and manage various accounting transactions and reconciliations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll. Additionally, the Accounting Manager will prepare budgets and forecasts, report on variances, and ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements. The role also involves participating in financial audits, coordinating audit activities, analyzing financial data to provide insights for decision-making, and helping to develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. A key aspect of this position is supervising accounting staff and providing guidance as needed, fostering a 'servant leader' mentality with a strong focus on mentorship and growth. Exposure to large, publicly traded operations is preferred, as the company seeks a candidate with leadership experience over the full scope and breadth of accounting operations.

Responsibilities
