About the position

The Pharma Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the accounting functions of the Navista and Specialty growth businesses at Cardinal Health. This role involves managing department operations, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards while contributing to the development of policies and procedures to achieve organizational goals. The ideal candidate will work a hybrid schedule, primarily based in Dublin, Ohio, and will interact with various management levels to resolve operational issues and gain consensus among stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manages department operations and supervises professional employees, front line supervisors, and/or business support staff.
• Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals.
• Ensures employees operate within guidelines.
• Makes decisions that have a short-term impact on work processes, outcomes, and customers.
• Interacts with subordinates, peers, customers, and suppliers at various management levels; may interact with senior management.
• Resolves issues related to operations and/or projects and gains consensus from various parties involved.

Requirements

• 8+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
