About The Position
The Accounting Manager will assist the VP of Finance in ensuring that all functions in the Accounting Department are performed timely with the most efficient and accurate methods, in accordance with established policies and procedures. This includes the maintenance of the integrity of the General Ledger, management of subsidiary accounting and reporting, training and management of Accounting Staff, and in all areas of accounting conducted within the organization. The role is crucial for ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), state and federal laws, and regulatory requirements, while also safeguarding the Credit Union's assets through effective internal controls.
