About the position

The Accounting Manager plays a crucial role in creating precise and comprehensive US GAAP financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting norms for both legal entities and business segments. This position is integral to the Corporate Consolidations Team, responsible for producing detailed and compliant footnotes for quarterly and annual financial reports. The role involves close collaboration with upper management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial reporting and internal controls.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct monthly consolidations in Oracle.
  • Perform monthly equity method investment in accounting roll forward for all minority interest owned investments.
  • Engage in special projects, including researching newly issued Accounting Standards and aiding in the deployment of the company's global ERP system.
  • Integrate newly acquired businesses and conduct ad hoc analysis.
  • Prepare and implement operations required for the consolidation of accounting sectors such as Fixed Assets, Leases, Goodwill, Intangibles, Debt, Payroll, and non-controlling interest.
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliation for all corporate legal entities.
  • Prepare the statement of cash flow worksheets for consolidated entities.
  • Prepare journal entries, generate reports, and perform related activities for global corporate cost centers.
  • Assist in the creation of quarterly balance sheet analytics for the corporate business division.
  • Support both internal and external financial audits.
  • Maintain accurate and timely financial records by completing tasks outlined in the monthly closing checklist.
  • Contribute to the development of comprehensive and compliant footnotes for quarterly and annual financial reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience in a similar capacity.
  • Outstanding skills in communication and relationship building.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
  • Working knowledge of financial systems (Oracle preferred) to support data extraction, reporting, and statement generation.
