About the position

Robert Half is partnering with an established Las Vegas based organization in their search for an experienced, hands-on Accounting Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and supervising accounting staff. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity of the organization and will be expected to lead the accounting team effectively. Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Monitor and analyze financial data.
• Reconcile balance sheets monthly.
• Manage financial accounts, payroll, budget, cash receipts, and assets.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconcile accounts.
• Review and correct general ledger details.
• Prepare and present financial statements and reports.
• Oversee annual and quarterly billing collections.
• Review cash receipts, accounts payable, and cash disbursement journals.
• Present financial reports at committee and Board meetings.
• Assist in annual budget preparation and fund investments.
• Conduct periodic audits and assist with annual audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of experience in general ledger accounting, month end close and financial reporting
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Management experience preferred
