About the position

As the Assistant Director of Nursing at Brickyard Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and management of the nursing department. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating nursing care and services, ensuring they align with the established standards and practices. Your ability to communicate effectively with both staff and residents will be key to your success, as you will need to address any concerns and implement improvements as necessary. Responsibilities

  • Assist with the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to residents.
  • Maintain quality care that is consistent with company and regulatory standards.
  • Assume responsibilities of daily operations in the absence of the Director of Nursing (RN).

Requirements

  • Currently Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice required - in good standing.
  • One to three (1-3) years of management or supervisory experience in long-term care or acute care.
  • Restorative or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
  • Must hold and maintain a current CPR certification.
