About the position

Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a skilled accounting manager to assist with the month-end close process in a wholesale distribution company. The role involves reconciling balance sheet accounts and leading the month-end close, while also providing support to the CFO through ad-hoc reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts including cash, prepaids, accruals, inventory, and accounts receivable.
• Lead the month-end close process and prepare monthly financial statements such as cash flow, P&L, and balance sheet.
• Review and approve journal entries in the accounting system.
• Run ad-hoc reports and perform analysis to support the CFO.

Requirements

• Proven experience in reconciling balance sheet accounts.
• Experience leading month-end close processes and preparing financial statements.
• Advanced Excel skills are required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Ability to work independently.
