About the position

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, treasury, compliance, and providing essential support to Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). This role involves developing and maintaining accounting principles and practices to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of financial data. The manager will lead a team, ensuring effective allocation and completion of work while maintaining strong communication with local and global teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, direct and coordinate all accounting, treasury, tax and internal control functions.
  • Continuously optimize accounting efficiency and strengthen control through best practices.
  • Provide key support for financial planning processes, including monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and 5-Year Plans.
  • Research and resolve technical issues to ensure compliance with IFRS and US GAAP.
  • Provide leadership and opportunities for professional growth and development for the accounting team.
  • Manage the accounting closing processes to secure timely, accurate and complete execution (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
  • Review and ensure appropriate Statutory and IFRS Financial Statements.
  • Oversee preparation of Tax Processes, management of outsourced consultancy and ensure compliance to local and group requirements, including representation before the government.
  • Secure compliance to internal controls (SOX) and ISO, manage audit plan and implementation of recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA or relevant certificates required.
  • Over 10 years of experience, with at least 3-5 years in leadership.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting and internal control.
