About the position

Sun Eagle Corporation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various financial and administrative tasks that are crucial to the smooth operation of our business. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including accounts payable and receivable, billing, payroll processing, and tax reporting. The successful candidate will also be involved in job costing, managing subcontracts and change orders, and preparing monthly reports for our CPA. Additionally, the role requires performing bank reconciliations and tracking hours for OSHA compliance, as well as managing insurance audits and SDVOSB renewals. The candidate will also be responsible for Vets-100 reporting and ensuring employee participation in insurance and 401k programs. Preparing bid documents will also be a key part of this position, requiring strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Handle billing and payment applications.
  • Process payroll and prepare related reports.
  • Conduct job costing and manage subcontracts and change orders.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for CPA review.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and track hours for OSHA compliance.
  • Assist with insurance audits and SDVOSB renewals.
  • Complete Vets-100 reporting and manage employee insurance programs.
  • Facilitate employee participation in 401k programs.
  • Prepare bid documents as required.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Word, Excel, and Zoom.
  • Experience in accounts payable and receivable management.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and tax reporting.
  • Familiarity with job costing and subcontract management.
  • Ability to prepare financial reports and conduct bank reconciliations.
  • Experience with OSHA compliance and insurance audits.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in preparing bid documents.
  • Familiarity with SDVOSB and Vets-100 reporting processes.
