About the position

The Accounting Manager at Endeavor Streaming plays a crucial role in managing financial reporting and control for the business. This position supports the VP, Segment Controller, and collaborates closely with operational teams and the wider finance network, both domestically and internationally. The role encompasses various responsibilities including financial close processes, variance analysis, cash flow forecasting, and compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct monthly/quarterly close process, accruals, journal entries and inter-company journal entries.
  • Prepare monthly B/S and P/L variance analysis and related supporting schedules.
  • Prepare all B/S reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with shared service center in India regarding accounts payable, accounts receivable and transactional management accounting.
  • Prepare weekly cashflow forecasting submissions, obtain payment approvals, set up wires and ensure timely processing of payments.
  • Prepare quarterly commission payment calculation for review and approval.
  • Conduct monthly customer settlements.
  • Review new customer agreements to determine billable items and proper revenue recognition.
  • Ensure invoices for all fixed and variable fees are accurate and processed on time.
  • Perform and comply with internal controls and policies to ensure conformance with internal financial controls, Sarbanes-Oxley and other statutory requirements.
  • Support the Segment Controller and local teams with year-end and interim audits and preparation of statutory accounts.
  • Work closely with intercompany team to ensure inter-company balances match and proactively resolve issues.
  • Assist with any projects and additional ad hoc requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • 8+ years of experience in accounting.
  • Strong track record in delivering to tight deadlines and leading by example.
  • Solution-oriented attitude and ‘can-do' spirit.
  • Pro-active and self-motivated individual, able to drive continuous improvement.
  • Recent SaaS General Ledger experience - SAP strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.).
  • Ability to partner with and support other functions (i.e tax, legal, compliance) and operate in a diverse, global environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
