We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team at Latitude Inc. This position is crucial for overseeing the management and optimization of our financial systems, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting various accounting functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in both strategic planning and hands-on execution, making this an ideal opportunity for a proactive individual with a strong background in accounting and financial systems management. In this role, you will oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of financial systems and software. Collaboration with IT and external vendors will be essential to ensure system integrity, data accuracy, and efficiency. You will supervise and support the accounting team in daily operations, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. Compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies will be a critical aspect of your responsibilities. You will generate and analyze financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to internal stakeholders. Additionally, you will develop and monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators, identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance financial systems and reporting capabilities. Managing system upgrades, modifications, and integrations with other business applications will also be part of your duties. As the Accounting Manager, you will lead and manage financial system-related projects, including system migrations and upgrades. Coordinating with cross-functional teams will be necessary to ensure successful project execution and integration. You will provide training and support to accounting staff on financial systems and best practices, serving as the primary point of contact for financial system issues and troubleshooting. Ensuring that financial systems and processes adhere to internal controls and regulatory requirements is paramount, as is preparing for and supporting external audits and reviews.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and financial systems management.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and Management Reporter.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial systems, including system implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
  • Familiarity with data integration tools and business intelligence software is a plus.
