About the position

The Accounting Manager at Summit 7 is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, billing, collections, and budget preparation for the satellite office. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations while providing financial analysis to support management's decision-making processes. The position also involves establishing internal controls and guidelines, managing tax planning, and coordinating with external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates financial reporting, billing, collections, and budget preparation for satellite office
• Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation
• Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets
• Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures compliance with accounting principles
• Responsible for tax planning and filing annual corporate tax return
• Audits accounts for compliance with regulations; coordinates with outside auditors
• Presents recommendations to management on financial objectives and policies
• Provides financial analysis for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
• Ensures compliance with government requirements
• Maintains accurate and complete records
• Participates in special projects or initiatives as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• Eight years or more of related experience
• Certified Public Accountant designation (preferred)
