Responsibilities

• Monthly financial statement preparation and analysis
• Monthly reconciliation of all asset accounts
• Review retail business transactions daily for accuracy
• Manage compliance of the 401k plan as well as other benefits
• Report sales to the owner daily
• Calculate commissions for sales reps and manage goals of each salesperson and the company as a whole
• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
• Conduct periodic inventory
• Prepare and file monthly sales tax reports

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with payroll and tax reporting
• Familiarity with 401k plan compliance and management
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Nice-to-haves
