About the position

The Accounting Manager position in Springdale, Ohio, is a short-term contract role within the service industry. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the processing of customer credit applications to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records
  • Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts and credit applications
  • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on account status
  • Handle credit card reconciliation work across various accounts
  • Assist with complex payroll
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring items are coded correctly
  • Review and scrutinize invoices due to the commission-based structure
  • Work closely with project managers, especially in relation to invoice evaluation
  • Ensure accurate job costing and project costing in the construction industry

Requirements

  • Proficiency in job costing, construction accounting, and payroll
  • General Accounting skills are essential
  • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Ability to work in a service industry environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
