About the position

The Accounting Office Clerk Bookkeeper at PuroClean of Rowland Heights is a part-time role focused on managing financial administration, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and record-keeping. The position emphasizes a commitment to customer service and teamwork, ensuring that all financial activities are conducted accurately and efficiently while supporting the overall operations of the office.

Responsibilities

  • Address and manage customer needs and concerns, notifying management and ownership as needed.
  • Manage all aspects of financial administration, including billing, invoicing, reconciling accounts, tax reports, and petty cash.
  • Maintain record keeping of all fixed assets and provide regular reporting to management and ownership.
  • Develop PuroClean-specific skills and expertise, procedures, and processes.
  • Review and ensure all timesheets and timecards are processed or forwarded to payroll service for accurate and timely payroll and payroll taxes.
  • Collect accounts receivable weekly and report to management.
  • Accurately track and report business income and expenses, ensuring sound financial data and records.

Requirements

  • Mid-level experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a genuine interest in people.
