About the position
AccuPay is seeking an experienced accounting and payroll professional to join our team in Greenwood, IN. The role involves collaborating with payroll specialists to map out payroll journal entries to clients' unique general ledgers and labor department reports, as well as processing client payrolls as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in G/L accounting and payroll, with a focus on customer service and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with payroll specialists to map out payroll journal entries to clients' general ledgers.
- Process client payrolls as needed.
- Build general ledgers in QuickBooks or other accounting software.
- Utilize Isolved and UKG HRIS software to serve clients.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients.
Requirements
- Experience in G/L accounting and payroll.
- Aptitude for HRIS technology and custom report building.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Prior experience with a CPA firm or payroll company.
- Experience as a one-person bookkeeper/payroll/HR department.
