Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable for two companies.
- Receive and approve invoices before posting them into the accounting system.
- Issue payments for approved invoices.
- Update Excel spreadsheets and vendor/supplier information as needed.
- Create vendor profiles in the accounting system.
- Maintain W-9 forms and assist with 1099 form preparation.
- Assist with general office duties such as answering phones and customer service.
Requirements
- Entry-level accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Sage accounting software.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Attention to detail and good attendance.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with accounting software other than Sage.
