The firm is seeking a Senior Manager for its Client Accounting Services (CAS) Oil and Gas team. This role is pivotal in overseeing accounting and financial management services provided to clients, particularly in the upstream oil and gas sector. The Senior Manager will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and useful financial records, reviewing financial statements, tracking key performance indicators, and providing valuable insights to clients. The CAS Oil and Gas Accounting Services team specializes in providing accounting and financial reporting services for Upstream Oil and Gas Operators, Investors, and Royalty Portfolios. The Senior Manager will manage all phases of planning and administering large and complex outsourced accounting engagements, requiring extensive knowledge of upstream oil and gas accounting specialties. This includes managing the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Revenue processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The role also involves significant client interaction, acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives, and implementing client service processes to enhance client satisfaction. In addition to client service delivery, the Senior Manager will play a crucial role in team member growth and development, mentoring staff, and participating in hiring initiatives. Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of planning and administering large and complex outsourced accounting engagements.
• Oversee accounting and financial management services provided by team members to clients.
• Review financial statements and ensure the delivery of accurate and timely financial records.
• Track key performance indicators and provide insights to clients.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives in client organizations.
• Implement client service processes and oversee adherence to controls.
• Plan and manage service delivery for multiple clients independently.
• Lead month-end close activities and preparation of financial reports.
• Develop and implement procedures for major functional areas such as A/P and month-end close.
• Engage in business development activities to acquire new clients and projects.
• Mentor and manage staff, providing performance feedback and coaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• Ten (10) plus years of progressively responsible experience in professional accounting functions, including six (6) plus years in the upstream oil and gas industry.
• Six (6)+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates.
• Strong knowledge of upstream oil and gas accounting concepts related to financial statements.
• Experience with Sage Intacct, Wolfepak and/or OGSQL accounting software is preferred.
• Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills (MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities.
