About the position

DTN is seeking a Global Revenue Controller to join their Finance team. This role is pivotal in managing revenue-related processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing insights that support critical business decisions across various industries. The Global Revenue Controller will oversee deferred revenue reconciliations, manage month-end closing processes, and handle financial reporting and consolidations, all while contributing to the company's mission of empowering customers with actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end closing process associated with Revenue and Financial Reporting including variance analysis and reconciliations.
• Oversee deferred revenue reconciliations and ensure accuracy with Salesforce contract management.
• Conduct financial reporting and consolidations, including global consolidations and dealing with eliminations and multiple currencies.
• Research and write accounting policy conclusions for revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards.
• Implement new processes and streamline existing ones to enhance efficiency in revenue management.
• Handle ad hoc projects as needed from leadership.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience in SaaS Revenue Management.
• Experience in researching and writing accounting policy conclusions for revenue recognition.
• Familiarity with IFRS standards is preferred.
• Proven ability to implement new processes and streamline existing ones.
