About the position

The Accounting Software Consultant will be responsible for installing, training, and supporting construction-related accounting software and systems for clients globally and throughout North America. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent communication skills to effectively assist clients with their financial software needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite and remote implementations and customer training
• Conduct web training
• Provide phone support to clients
• Assist development staff with design, testing, and documentation of software

Requirements

• 1-2 years of relative work experience in accounting or financial software
• Strong understanding of accounting practices and principles
• Experience with General Ledger account balances
• Experience crafting journal entries
• Experience preparing financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, etc.)
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience reconciling GL accounts (Inventory, AP, AR, Cash, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with Microsoft Business Central is a plus
• BS in accounting preferred

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in a foreign language is a plus
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or Sage 500 is a plus
