About the position

The Accounting Specialist and Operations Support role is designed for a highly motivated individual who will manage financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and budget tracking. This position emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy in financial records by regularly updating, reconciling, and verifying accounts.
• Timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and payroll to ensure compliance and avoid delays.
• Guarantee timely billing, follow-up on outstanding invoices, and manage vendor payments to maintain positive relationships.
• Evaluate workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement streamlined processes.
• Introduce tools or methods that enhance productivity and reduce manual effort.
• Regularly review and update procedures to align with best practices and organizational goals.
• Serve as a point of contact to ensure effective collaboration between the Finance, Sales and Operations departments.
• Communicate key updates and requirements to stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Support training efforts to enhance team understanding of tools and processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of progressive relevant work experience.
• Experience in supervising and managing teams.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with other departments, leadership teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for accuracy.
