About the position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in corporate accounting and technical accounting principles, focusing on regulatory reporting and compliance. This role is essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining the integrity of our financial records.
Responsibilities
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
- Utilize Quickbooks accounting software for various accounting functions, including data entry and report generation.
- Report and process refund requests.
- Filing deposit reports and checks.
- Compiling various accounting reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience in corporate accounting or a similar role is required.
- Strong skills in general ledger reconciliation and financial report writing are essential.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks or similar accounting software is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
