About the position
The Accounting Supervisor will assist the Controller and CFO with various financial tasks, overseeing all accounting and payroll staff. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to prepare and analyze financial reports and statements. The position is hybrid after a 90-day probation period.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to the Controller and CFO on all financial-related tasks.
- Supervise all accounting and payroll staff.
- Prepare and analyze financial due diligence for potential physician practice acquisitions.
- Prepare, evaluate, and interpret accounting reports and statements including balance sheet, revenue, and cash flow statements.
- Delegate data entry tasks to accounting staff.
- Prepare trend and variance analysis.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings as well as annual audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of five years' experience, preferably in a HealthCare environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of Supervisory experience.
- Excellent analytical, computer, and organizational skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with QuickBooks and Paychex Flex.
