The Accounting Systems Administrator is responsible for assisting with all support functions relating to Stream's accounting software systems including but not limited to Yardi and AVIDXchange. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a system administrator for multiple accounting systems including but not limited to YARDI, MRI, AVID and Chrome River.
  • User access requests, system setup, table record maintenance, etc.
  • Provide minimum system support and troubleshoot system issues (Tier 1).
  • Assist with planning and the support of software application upgrades and new system initiatives.
  • Help with drafting and maintaining training and reference documentation (as needed).
  • Assist with training end-users with the applications (as needed).
  • Coordinate system support with application vendors, consultants and / or inter-department teams (as needed).
  • Maintain internal controls by upholding system security and ensuring proper documentation/approvals are obtained for system access.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Some Accounting classes or Accounting Information Systems classes preferred.
  • 2–5+ years relevant accounting systems experience, or hands-on Property Accounting experience utilizing common real estate accounting software is preferred.
  • Basic+ understanding of accounting principles required.
  • Real estate industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated quantitative analytical skills.
  • Yardi & Avid experience highly desired; MRI, Chrome River experience a plus.
  • Some knowledge of SQL or interest in learning SQL preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced competence in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Power Automate/Forms.
  • Ability to work with a large volume of data in Excel with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to leverage communication technology while working with remote users.
  • Ability to interpret and understand end-user requests and ask questions to clarify needs.
  • Self-motivation, ability to multi-task, and ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to prioritize work while utilizing a Help Desk ticketing system.
  • Ability to solve routine problems independently and identify potential issues with requests submitted.
  • Ability to present possible solutions to manager or supervisor regarding more complex issues or problems.
