About the position

The automotive markets we serve include fleet management and leasing, vehicle fabrication and upfitting, component manufacturing, powertrain distribution, logistics services, commercial and personal insurance, and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States. We are currently seeking a Data Entry Specialist to join our team in Vancouver, WA. In the role of Accounting Technician, you will support various functions within the team, including Vehicle Administration, Incentives, Banking, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP). Your responsibilities will include proactive communication with team members and vendors, resolving billing issues, performing deposit functions for multiple entities, assisting with transactional accounting, and handling various administrative tasks such as scanning documents. We are looking for individuals who are adaptable to new technology and possess strong organizational and communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook, is essential, and dealership experience is a plus. Familiarity with CDK/ADP systems will also be beneficial. Responsibilities

  • Communicate proactively and effectively with others in the company on a regular basis
  • Work with vendors to resolve billing issues as needed
  • Perform deposit function for multiple entities as needed
  • Assist with transactional basis accounting and various reporting requirements
  • Handle scanning and other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to adapt to new technology
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel
  • Dealership experience is a plus
  • Experience with CDK/ADP is a plus
