About the position

The Accounting Technician for Housing is responsible for managing all general accounting functions for the housing authority. This includes preparing and reconciling financial statements, handling monthly financial reports, and ensuring compliance with year-end closeout and audit requirements. The role also involves clerical duties such as record keeping and filing, and providing backup support to the community development office assistant. The position requires onsite work for the first six months, with the possibility of a hybrid work schedule thereafter.
