About the position

The Accounting & Treasury Controller will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Team at Airbus, specifically at the Crisa Tres Cantos site. This position is temporary and involves a variety of financial responsibilities including controlling, reporting, budgetary control, and treasury management. The candidate will be tasked with ensuring accurate monthly reporting to Airbus, which is essential for maintaining financial integrity and transparency within the organization. Key responsibilities include the control and follow-up of the company budget, monitoring cost centers, and managing hourly rates. The role also involves overseeing company subsidies and research and development (R&D) projects, leading R&D audits, and providing support to project managers in justifying expenditures to official organizations. The candidate will be responsible for establishing the Free Cash Flow (FCF) budget and updating forecasts throughout the year, ensuring that the financial planning aligns with the company's strategic goals. Additionally, the Accounting & Treasury Controller will guarantee the completion of monthly closing transactions in collaboration with the accounting team. This includes the preparation of both internal and external reports, which are vital for stakeholder communication and decision-making. The role requires a solid understanding of both analytic and financial accounting, as well as P&L control, to ensure the financial health of the organization. The candidate will also manage external payments to suppliers and control customer payments, including the claiming of overdue amounts. This position demands a high level of integrity and awareness of compliance risks, as these factors are foundational to the company's success and reputation. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and stakeholder management abilities, as they will be required to interact with various departments and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure monthly reporting to Airbus.
  • Control and follow up of company budget, cost center, and hourly rates.
  • Control and monitor company subsidies and R&D projects.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration.
  • Five years of work experience in a relevant field.
  • B2 First - English Language certification or similar.
