About the position

The Accounts Payable Accountant role is essential for managing the full cycle of accounts payable processes within a rapidly growing organization. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work both independently and collaboratively within a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and accounts payable, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Matching, batching, coding, and entering invoices
• Working knowledge of purchase orders
• Researching and resolving accounts payable issues with customers and vendors
• Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to the general ledger
• Utilizing accounts payable and general accounting experience

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with independent work
• Experience with ERP software is a plus
• Strong Excel skills
