About the position

The Accounts Payable Administrator at Idaho Forest Group is responsible for managing and processing accounts payable transactions in a dynamic lumber production facility. This role involves matching purchase orders with invoices, resolving discrepancies, responding to vendor inquiries, and supporting the accounting team with various tasks. Responsibilities

  • Match purchase orders with invoices and resolve discrepancies with the purchasing department.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries about invoices and payments while managing vendor statements.
  • Review purchase order receiving reports and work with purchasing to resolve older items and issues.
  • Support the accounting team and assist with special projects.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Proficient knowledge in computer systems including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and financial planning software.
  • Ability to express ideas clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others towards a common goal.
  • Ability to adapt to various weather conditions and loud environments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Previous manufacturing environment experience.
  • 2+ years of accounts payable experience.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles.
