About the position

The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate payments, and maintaining financial records. This role involves interpreting policies, preparing reports, and providing documentation for audits while maintaining confidentiality. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills to effectively handle multiple tasks and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret policies and procedures as established by superior
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are accurate
  • Draft financial, statistical, narrative, and/or other reports as requested
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits
  • Maintain confidentiality of organizational information
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
  • Track expenses and process expense reports
  • Set invoices up for payment
  • Review and verify invoices and check requests
  • Perform related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of clerical experience
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and follow through on assigned tasks
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to form strong relationships and communication channels across the organization
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively to customers and staff
