Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with state and federal accounting rules and regulations.
- Implement and adhere to internal policies and procedures.
- Apply Generally Accepted Accounting and Auditing Principles (GAAP) in all financial operations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure accuracy in financial documentation.
- Provide guidance on financial policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1 or more years of experience in financial management or analysis, including government housing programs; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Knowledge of state and federal accounting rules and regulations.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting and Auditing Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Benefits
- Contract position with a pay range of $19.00 - $20.00 per hour.
