About the position

The Accounts Payable Assistant position is a part-time role focused on managing and processing accounts payable tasks for the Westchester Property Management Group. The role involves data entry, filing invoices, and communicating with vendors, ensuring accurate and timely financial documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Data entry and filing invoices including Con Edison bills, water bills, mortgage statements, and telephone bills.
  • Scanning operating statements, paid bill files, and payroll registers.
  • Emailing Board Members monthly operating statements and paid bills.
  • Contacting vendors for changes of address or bank account information on auto pay items.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or similar roles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Skyline software is a plus but can be trained.
