About the position

The Accounts Payable Assistant at CBH Homes is responsible for managing accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate entry and reconciliation of bills, and providing administrative support to the accounting and construction teams. This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the company's mission of building dreams for Idahoans.

Responsibilities

  • Label and enter A/P bills into accounting software
  • Keep pertinent A/P spreadsheets up to date
  • Review & reconcile monthly statements
  • Audit profitability reports
  • Manage trade agreements & insurances, with vendor set up in software
  • Answer phone calls or emails from trade partners & superintendents
  • Support accounting and construction services with administrative and operational duties

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience with accounting software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a variety of calls and/or emails daily
