About the position
The Accounts Payable Clerk position at Belcan involves managing the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices. This role is essential for maintaining financial accuracy and supporting the finance team in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities
- Fulfill assigned tasks throughout the end-to-end accounts payable process in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Deliver a high volume of transactional work (invoice processing) with the highest accuracy and timeliness.
- Work with a team to ensure invoices are processed timely and meet invoice processing goals.
- Accurately code and record invoices into the accounting system.
- Reference written work instructions for guidance with daily job activities.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen
- High School Diploma plus some college education
- 1+ years of experience with a variety of Accounts Payable concepts, practices, and procedures
- 1+ years of experience in data entry
- 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge and experience with SAP, Oracle, and/or JDE
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with vendors and employees
