About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing invoices and ensuring accuracy. This role is essential by ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying, coding, and entering invoices into the accounting system.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Monitor accounts for overdue payments and follow up as necessary.
• Assist other team members in basic accounting functions.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information as requested.
• Scan and file all applicable paperwork to maintain paperless documentation.
• Participate as a backup for front desk reception.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, particularly in accounts payable or related fields.
• Manufacturing accounting experience required.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
