The Accounts Payable & Client Services Specialist at Mahoney is an entry-level position focused on providing administrative support within the accounting field. Responsibilities

  • Processing payables for clients using BILL
  • Tracking vendor W-9 information for filing of information returns
  • Preparing simple bank reconciliations in QuickBooks Online
  • Assisting with workload planning and scheduling
  • Coordinating the collection of client information for accountants
  • Preparing and sending out reports
  • Preparing and sending out engagement letters
  • Collaborating in proposal preparations
  • Tracking leads
  • Corresponding with clients to follow up on information requests
  • Providing comprehensive billing support

Requirements

  • 1-2 years previous related work experience
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel; advanced knowledge preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication skills
