The coordinator will be responsible for managing accounts payable processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP accrual accounting, and supporting the financial operations of the company. The role also includes opportunities for occasional international travel to support global operations.

Responsibilities

  • Verify invoices for accuracy and compliance prior to posting.
  • Process payments accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of accounts payable activities.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Respond effectively to vendor inquiries and provide timely support.
  • Assist with month-end closing, including posting accruals and prepaid invoices.
  • Develop and maintain an organized filing system for accounts payable documentation.
  • Support the accounts payable department with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP accrual accounting principles.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in verifying and processing invoices.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with vendors and team members.
  • Ability to establish and maintain efficient filing systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Familiarity with accruals, prepaids, and month-end processes.
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software.
