About the position

The Accounts Payable Coordinator at Gateway Logistics Group is responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining financial security through adherence to internal controls. This role is essential in supporting the company's commitment to outstanding customer service and operational excellence within a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Full A/P cycle processing
• Receiving all invoices daily
• Perform all functions in approval process
• Resolve discrepancies with supplier invoices
• Reconcile all account statements
• Prepare weekly pay runs, checks, wires, electronic payments
• Develop direct lines of communication with all client contacts
• Process vendor credit applications
• Maintain financial security by following internal accounting controls
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of overall A/P experience
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the A/P processing cycle
• Netsuite experience a huge plus
• Experience in the Freight and Transportation Industry a plus
• Strong process resolution skills
• High attention to detail
• Strong computer skills
• Hands-on self-starter with the ability to effectively follow difficult issues to resolution
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
