About the position

The Accounts Payable Coordinator position at a family-owned property management firm in Stamford, CT, involves managing accounts payable for multiple locations, ensuring accurate financial transactions, and maintaining vendor records. Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable for 15 locations, processing 50 to 75 checks a week and 50 online utility payments a month.
  • Recording and reconciliation of credit card transactions.
  • Recording of storage facility transactions for 4 locations.
  • Monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain vendor file including current rates and payments for maintenance, cleaning, and landscaping contracts.
  • Ordering of accounting supplies (checks, deposit slips, etc.).
  • Filing.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a related field.
  • Entry-level position requiring under 1 year of experience in accounts payable or cash management.
  • Proficiency in cash handling and cash management.
