About the position

The Manager for Accounts Payable, Imprest and Overseas Allowance Payments at Deloitte is responsible for overseeing the accounts payable processes, including imprest and overseas allowance payments, ensuring compliance with accounting policies within the Government and Public Services (GPS) practice. This role demands strong customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment, while also leading a team of analysts across the US and India.

Responsibilities

• Manage the GPS Accounts Payable (AP) process, including voucher change requests, vendor refunds, voucher postings, and AP workflow queries.
• Post vendor vouchers and manual checks.
• Liaise with National Financial Control and IT teams to resolve errors in SAP/CostPoint interfaces.
• Perform testing, analysis, and maintenance of Deloitte GPS Systems related to Accounts Payable.
• Assist in documenting and monitoring internal controls and process improvements.
• Manage the Imprest and Overseas Allowance Payments (OAP) processes, including new account setups and monthly submissions.
• Review and approve imprest accounts in Blackline and approve submissions and replenishments.
• Assist with the implementation of the Sage accounting system.
• Lead a team of analysts, ensuring timely completion of tasks and providing coaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance, or relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of related accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Deloitte's GPS AP, Imprest, and/or OAP processes.
• Knowledge of Costpoint and/or Sage systems.
