About the position

The Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist at Epworth Children's Home is responsible for coordinating record keeping in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. This role includes cash management support, accounts payable, payroll, and other functions related to the operations of the Business Office, under the supervision of the VP for Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate record keeping in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Provide cash management support.
  • Manage accounts payable processes.
  • Handle payroll functions and related tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with ECH policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in all business office operations.
  • Proficient in software programs necessary for administration, communication, and payroll, such as MS Office, Windows, Blackbaud, and Excel.
  • Ability to pass standard background checks, including drug screen and employment physical.
  • Engagement in faith practices compatible with those of the United Methodist Church.
