About the position

The Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist at Inntel Hospitality is responsible for managing accounts payable processes and providing payroll support for a group of 8 hotels in Central NY. This role requires a unique combination of skills in accounting and hospitality, ensuring accurate financial processing and effective communication within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • A/P entry using Quickbooks Pro
  • Invoice Coding
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Processing vendor payments
  • Producing clear and concise correspondence including letters, memos, and emails
  • Developing spreadsheets
  • Data Entry
  • Processing Weekly Payroll through Paychex Flex
  • Managing Human Resource Files
  • Basic office duties; mail, telephone, file administration
  • Research of vendors, suppliers, service providers
  • Process purchase orders
  • Basic human relations filing

Requirements

  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Accounting or similar course of study
  • At least 3 years of A/P experience
  • Experience with QuickBooks and Paychex
  • Background in hospitality or property management is a plus
